DAY 01: ARRIVE – SRINAGAR (Srinagar Local Sightseeing & Srinagar Houseboat Stay)

At time transfer to airport to connect the flight for Srinagar. Meet our assistant and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a 01 Hour Shikara Ride on Dal Lake by a gondola boat called “Shikara”. Witness the ride on the lake, called the Venice of India, and experience the aquatic life of Srinagar. Also enjoy the scenic extravaganza of Kashmir Tourism and the vibrant colors of the Paradise on Earth (Places to Visit in Srinagar). While returning, visit the local crafts market and see the fine carved hand-made articles from Paper Machie & walnut wood. Overnight stay at the Deluxe Houseboat (Best Houseboat in Srinagar / Dal Lake Houseboat Booking).

DAY 02: SRINAGAR – SONAMARG – SRINAGAR (Srinagar to Sonamarg Day Trip)

After breakfast leave for a full day excursion for Sonamarg Tour & Sonamarg Sightseeing. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft, Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called “The Meadow of Gold” and has snowy mountains against a cerulean sky as its backdrop. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and Mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major attraction for Kashmir Tourism in Summer. Return for dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat/Hotel.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR – PAHALGAM (Srinagar to Pahalgam Taxi & Pahalgam Tour Package)

Transfer from Srinagar to Pahalgam, also known as the “Valley of Shepherds”. On arrival check in at Pahalgam Hotel. In Pahalgam, enjoy the natural beauty and walk around the banks of River Lidder (Places to Visit in Pahalgam). DAY 04: PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR + Srinagar Sightseeing Tour

Transfer from Pahalgam to Srinagar. On the way visit the Awantipura Ruins of the 9th Century & Mattan Temple Complex (Kashmir Travel Guide). In the afternoon, visit famous Mughal Gardens in Srinagar – “Nishat Bagh” (The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar Bagh” (Abode of All). Drive along the lakeside on Boulevard Road. On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, Kashmiri Shawls, and jewellery ornaments. Also visit Shankaracharya Temple Srinagar. DAY 05: SRINAGAR – GULMARG – SRINAGAR (Srinagar to Gulmarg Day Tour)

Full day excursion for Gulmarg Sightseeing & Gulmarg Tour Package, known as the “Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 53 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700 ft. Gulmarg is a famous ski resort and is home to the world’s highest 18-hole golf course (Places to Visit in Gulmarg / Kashmir Winter Tourism). The place was also prominent during the British era.
