Char Dham Tour with Auli Package from Delhi – 12 Nights / 13 Days

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (Approx. 230 km / 6–7 Hours)

Your Char Dham Yatra from Delhi begins with arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, where you will meet the TravelMurti representative. From Delhi, proceed by road towards Haridwar, one of the main gateways to the Char Dham pilgrimage and the Garhwal Himalayas.

On arrival in Haridwar, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri on the banks of the River Ganga and experience the sacred evening Ganga Aarti.

Return to the hotel after the visit.

Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (Approx. 220 km / 7–8 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey from Haridwar to Barkot via Mussoorie.

En route, visit Kempty Falls, one of the popular attractions near Mussoorie, and enjoy the scenic mountain surroundings before continuing towards Barkot.

On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest before the Yamunotri pilgrimage scheduled for the following day.

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Approx. 36 km Drive + 6 km Trek Each Way

After an early breakfast, drive towards Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti. From Janki Chatti, begin the approximately 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple.

Pilgrims can complete the trek on foot or use locally available pony or doli services at their own expense.

On reaching Yamunotri, visit the sacred temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Pilgrims can also visit Surya Kund, a natural thermal spring traditionally used for preparing prasad, and offer prayers at Divya Shila before temple darshan.

After completing the pilgrimage, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive to Barkot.

Hanuman Chatti: An important pilgrimage stop near the confluence of the Hanuman Ganga and Yamuna rivers.

Yamunotri Temple: The sacred shrine dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and traditionally the first Dham visited during the Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra.

Surya Kund: A natural thermal spring near Yamunotri Temple associated with traditional religious offerings.

Divya Shila: A sacred stone worshipped by devotees before entering Yamunotri Temple.

Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4 Hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Uttarkashi, an important pilgrimage town situated along the Bhagirathi River.

On arrival, check in at the hotel and refresh. Later, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a revered Shiva temple and one of the important religious attractions of Uttarkashi.

Return to the hotel after the visit.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Approx. 100 km / 3 Hours Each Way

After breakfast, begin the journey from Uttarkashi to Gangotri Dham, situated at an altitude of approximately 3,048 metres.

The route passes through beautiful Himalayan landscapes, with views of the Bhagirathi River and Harsil Valley along the journey.

On reaching Gangotri, visit Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, and complete darshan and prayers.

Later, drive back to Uttarkashi.

Places of Interest at Gangotri

Gangotri Temple: One of the four sacred Char Dham shrines and an important temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga.

Submerged Shivling: A natural rock formation associated with the tradition of Lord Shiva receiving Goddess Ganga. Its visibility depends on the water level and prevailing river conditions.

Kedar Ganga Sangam: A sacred confluence near Gangotri where the Kedar Ganga meets the Bhagirathi River.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Chopta (Approx. 190 km / 6–7 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Chopta, a scenic Himalayan destination known for its forests, mountain landscapes and trekking routes.

Enjoy changing views of Uttarakhand’s valleys and mountains throughout the journey.

On reaching Chopta, check in at the hotel or camp. Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and mountain atmosphere.

Day 07: Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila – Guptakashi

Approx. 5 km Trek as per Itinerary

After breakfast, begin the trek from Chopta towards Tungnath Temple, one of the Panch Kedar temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Continue towards Chandrashila, subject to weather, trail conditions, fitness and accessibility. The summit region is known for panoramic views of the surrounding Garhwal Himalayas.

After completing the trek, return to Chopta and continue by road towards Guptakashi.

On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.

Tungnath Temple: One of the Panch Kedar temples and among the highest-altitude Shiva temples in the world.

Chandrashila: A Himalayan summit above the Tungnath region known for its panoramic mountain views.

Day 08: Guptakashi – Kedarnath

After breakfast, proceed towards Sonprayag and continue according to the prevailing local transport arrangements for the Kedarnath pilgrimage.

Begin the high-altitude journey towards Kedarnath Dham. Pilgrims may travel on foot or use locally available pony or doli services at their own expense and subject to availability.

On reaching Kedarnath, check in at the camp or tent accommodation as specified in the package.

Later, visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva, and attend the evening Aarti subject to temple timings.

Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 09: Kedarnath – Guptakashi

Begin the morning with Aarti and darshan at Kedarnath Temple, subject to temple timings.

After darshan, start the return trek and continue towards the designated road-access point according to prevailing local arrangements.

Proceed by road towards Guptakashi. On arrival, check in at the hotel and rest after the Kedarnath pilgrimage.

Day 10: Guptakashi – Badrinath (Approx. 170 km / 5 Hours)

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Badrinath Dham via Joshimath.

On arrival in Badrinath, check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in the form of Badrinarayan, for darshan and Aarti subject to temple timings.

Later, explore the attractions mentioned in the itinerary around Mana Village, including Vyas Gufa and the Saraswati River area.

After sightseeing, begin the journey towards Pipalkoti via Joshimath.

On arrival in Pipalkoti, check in at the hotel and relax.

Joshimath: Also known as Jyotirmath, Joshimath is an important religious town in the Chamoli district and a major gateway to destinations including Badrinath and Auli.

Day 12: Pipalkoti – Rishikesh (Approx. 220 km / 8–9 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the journey towards Rishikesh.

On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, explore the spiritual attractions included in the itinerary, such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula area, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir and Parmarth Niketan, subject to available time and local access.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

Day 13: Rishikesh – Delhi (Approx. 200 km / 6 Hours)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey from Rishikesh to Delhi.
