Frequently Asked Questions

Q1.Is the Yatra Registration mandatory for everyone?

A: Yes, it is. The government of Uttarakhand requires every single person to register. This is a legal rule to keep everyone safe in case of bad weather. Our team will help you get your registration done before the trip starts.

Q2.Are there age limits for the Kedarnath trek?

A: There is no strict legal age limit, but the trek is very long (about 16km). If you are traveling with very small children or elderly people, we recommend booking a helicopter or a pony in advance. This makes the trip much easier on the body.

Q3.What kind of medical documents do I need?

A: While you don't always have to show a doctor's note to enter, the government strongly advises a "Physical Fitness Certificate." Because the air is thin at high altitudes, it is your legal responsibility to make sure your heart and lungs are healthy enough for the climb.

Q4.Is plastic banned on the tour?

A: Yes! The Himalayas are a "No Plastic Zone." It is illegal to litter or use certain types of thin plastic bags. Please bring a reusable water bottle to help keep the holy mountains clean and avoid paying any fines.
