Frequently Asked Questions
Q1.Is it too cold for children?
A: It is cold, but we stay in cozy hotels with blankets. As long as children wear warm clothes, they will enjoy the snow and the temples very much.
Q2.Can we see the actual Kedarnath temple?
A: No, the main temple at the top is closed because of too much snow. We visited the Winter Seat at Ukhimath, which is just as holy and much easier to reach.
Q3.What kind of food will we get?
A: We provide fresh, vegetarian meals. You will get hot breakfast and dinner at your hotels to keep you warm and healthy.
Q4.How do I book the taxi?
A: When you book our Winter Chardham package, the taxi is included! You don't have to worry about finding a driver or a car yourself.
Q5.Is the oxygen level low in these places?
A: Since these winter seats are at a lower height than the summer temples, breathing is easy. Most people do not feel any sickness at these altitudes.
