Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot

Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot

Drive: Approximately 36 km

Trek: Approximately 6 km (One Way)

After breakfast, drive towards Hanuman Chatti and continue to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri Temple.

From Janki Chatti, begin the approximately 6 km trek to Yamunotri Dham. Pilgrims may complete the trek on foot or hire a pony or doli at their own expense.

Upon reaching Yamunotri Temple, seek the blessings of Goddess Yamuna at one of the most sacred shrines of the Uttarakhand Do Dham Tour.

Visit Surya Kund, the natural hot-water spring where devotees traditionally prepare rice by dipping it into the boiling water as prasad.

Drive through the spectacular Himalayan landscape while passing the picturesque Harsil Valley, dense forests, mountain villages, and the sacred Bhagirathi River.
