Puri & Bhubaneswar Tour Package – 2 Nights / 3 Days

Day 01: Bhubaneswar – Dhauli – Pipili – Konark – Puri

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed towards Puri. En route, explore some of Odisha's most important heritage, cultural, and coastal attractions.

Dhauli: Visit this important Buddhist heritage destination associated with Emperor Ashoka and the historic Kalinga War. Explore the peaceful Shanti Stupa and the surrounding heritage area.

Pipili: Stop at Pipili, famous for Odisha's traditional appliqué handicrafts. Explore the colorful local market featuring decorative textiles, wall hangings, bags, umbrellas, and handcrafted products.

Konark Sun Temple: Continue to the magnificent Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Odisha's most celebrated architectural monuments. Dedicated to Surya, the Sun God, this 13th-century monument is renowned for its monumental stone chariot design, intricately carved wheels, sculptures, and remarkable Kalinga architecture.

Chandrabhaga Beach: Visit the scenic Chandrabhaga Beach near Konark and enjoy the coastal surroundings of the Bay of Bengal.

Ramachandi: Continue to Ramachandi, a peaceful coastal destination near the Kushabhadra River, known for its temple and natural surroundings.

After sightseeing, drive to Puri and check in at the hotel.

In the evening, proceed for darshan at the sacred Shree Jagannatha Temple, one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites and the spiritual heart of Puri.

Return to the hotel after darshan.

Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 02: Puri Sightseeing – Chilika Lake (Satapada) – Puri

Wake up early and enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Puri Beach, subject to weather conditions. Spend some leisure time along the coast before returning to the hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Puri.

Loknath Temple: Visit the revered Loknath Temple, an important Shiva temple and pilgrimage site in Puri.

Gundicha Temple: Visit the sacred Gundicha Temple, closely associated with the annual Ratha Yatra of Lord Jagannath.

Later, proceed for an excursion to Chilika Lake at Satapada, one of Odisha's most famous natural attractions. Chilika is a vast brackish-water lagoon known for its rich biodiversity, wetlands, islands, birdlife, and fishing communities.

Enjoy a boat ride at Chilika Lake, subject to weather conditions and local operations. Depending on the selected boating route, visitors may explore areas towards the sea mouth and enjoy views around Rajhans Island.

The Satapada region is also known for Irrawaddy dolphins, which may occasionally be spotted during the boat ride. As these are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After the Chilika excursion, return to Puri.

In the evening, enjoy leisure time at Puri Beach and explore the local beach market for handicrafts, souvenirs, and traditional Odisha products.

Overnight stay in Puri.

Day 03: Puri – Bhubaneswar Sightseeing – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha and a city renowned for its ancient temples and Kalinga architecture.

Depending on your flight or train departure time, visit the major attractions of Bhubaneswar.

Lingaraj Temple: Visit one of Bhubaneswar's most important Hindu temples and a remarkable example of Kalinga temple architecture.

Mukteshwar Temple: Explore this historic Shiva temple, renowned for its intricate stone carvings and beautifully designed arched gateway.

Rajarani Temple: Visit this historic monument known for its distinctive architecture and detailed sculptures.

Udayagiri & Khandagiri Caves: Explore the ancient rock-cut cave complexes associated primarily with Jain heritage and known for their inscriptions, sculptures, and archaeological significance.

If sufficient time is available before departure, Nandankanan Zoological Park may also be visited. Since the zoological park requires additional travel and sightseeing time, it should be included only when the departure schedule permits.

After completing the sightseeing, transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
