Puri Bhubaneswar Tour Package – 3 Nights / 4 Days

Day 01: Bhubaneswar – Puri via Dhauli, Pipili & Raghurajpur

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station, meet the TravelMurti representative and begin your journey to Puri. En route, explore some of Odisha’s important spiritual, historical, and cultural attractions.

Visit Dhauli, an important Buddhist heritage destination associated with Emperor Ashoka and the historic Kalinga War. The area is known for the ancient Rock Edicts and the peaceful Dhauli Shanti Stupa.

Continue to the Chausathi Yogini Temple at Hirapur, an ancient circular temple dedicated to the 64 Yoginis and an important example of Odisha’s Tantric temple tradition.

Proceed to Pipili, famous for its colorful appliqué handicrafts. Explore the local market, where traditional decorative textiles, wall hangings, umbrellas, bags, and other handcrafted products are available.

Visit Sakhigopal Temple, a revered Vaishnavite temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, before continuing to Raghurajpur Heritage Crafts Village. The village is renowned for traditional Pattachitra paintings, palm-leaf engravings, masks, and other forms of Odisha handicrafts.

Continue to Puri and check in at the hotel.

In the evening, proceed for darshan at the sacred Shree Jagannatha Temple, one of the four Char Dham pilgrimage sites in Hindu tradition and the spiritual heart of Puri.

After darshan, return to the hotel.

Day 02: Puri – Chilika Lake (Satapada) – Puri

Wake up early and enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Puri Beach, subject to weather conditions. Spend some leisure time along the coast before returning to the hotel for breakfast.

Later, visit Narendra Sarovar, a sacred tank in Puri associated with important religious traditions and festivals.

Proceed for an excursion to Satapada at Chilika Lake, one of Odisha’s most famous natural attractions. Chilika is a vast brackish-water lagoon known for its wetlands, islands, birdlife, fishing communities, and rich biodiversity.

Enjoy a boat ride at Chilika Lake, subject to weather conditions and local operations. Depending on the selected route, visitors may explore areas around the lagoon, including views towards the sea mouth and Rajhans Island.

Chilika is also home to Irrawaddy dolphins, which may occasionally be spotted during boating. As these are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

On the return journey, visit Alarnath Temple at Brahmagiri, an important Vaishnavite pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Return to Puri in the evening. Spend some leisure time at Puri Beach or explore the local markets for handicrafts, souvenirs, and traditional Odisha products.

Day 03: Puri – Ramachandi – Chandrabhaga – Konark – Bhubaneswar

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Konark along the scenic coastal route.

Visit Ramachandi, a popular coastal destination near the mouth of the Kushabhadra River. Depending on available time, visit the nearby Ramachandi Temple and enjoy the peaceful coastal surroundings.

Continue to Chandrabhaga Beach, located near Konark and known for its scenic shoreline along the Bay of Bengal.

Later, visit the magnificent Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India’s most celebrated architectural monuments. Built in the 13th century and dedicated to Surya, the Sun God, the temple is designed as a monumental stone chariot and is renowned for its intricately carved wheels, horses, sculptures, and remarkable Kalinga architecture.

After completing the Konark sightseeing, continue to Bhubaneswar.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Ekamra Haat, where you can explore Odisha’s traditional handicrafts, handloom products, artwork, and local specialties.

Return to the hotel.

Day 04: Bhubaneswar Sightseeing – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bhubaneswar, popularly known as the Temple City of India.

Visit the magnificent Lingaraj Temple, one of Bhubaneswar’s most important religious landmarks and a celebrated example of Kalinga temple architecture.

Continue to Rajarani Temple, known for its distinctive architecture and detailed stone sculptures.

Visit Mukteshwar Temple, a historic Shiva temple admired for its intricate carvings and beautifully designed arched gateway.

Explore the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, ancient rock-cut caves associated primarily with Jain heritage. The caves contain inscriptions, sculptures, and archaeological features reflecting Odisha’s ancient history.

Depending on your departure time, you may also visit the Odisha State Museum to discover the state’s archaeology, art, manuscripts, history, and cultural heritage.

If sufficient time is available, Nandankanan Zoological Park may be included. Since it requires significant travel and sightseeing time, the visit should be planned according to the departure schedule and the park’s operating day and hours.
