ITINERARY

Day 01: Chennai Arrival – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry

Upon arrival at Chennai Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and proceed towards Pondicherry. En route, visit Mahabalipuram (Mamallapuram), a historic coastal town renowned for its Pallava-era monuments and rock-cut architecture.

Visit the Shore Temple, one of Mahabalipuram’s most iconic monuments and part of the UNESCO-listed Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram.

Continue to Arjuna’s Penance, an impressive open-air rock relief featuring intricate stone carvings.

Explore the Pancha Rathas (Five Rathas), a remarkable group of monolithic rock-cut monuments, followed by Krishna’s Butter Ball, the famous naturally balanced boulder.

After completing the Mahabalipuram sightseeing, continue to Pondicherry. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.

Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 02: Pondicherry Sightseeing – Overnight Journey to Rameswaram

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Pondicherry sightseeing.

Visit Auroville, the international township known for its peaceful atmosphere and vision of human unity. Visit the Matrimandir Viewpoint, subject to access rules, timings, and availability.

Continue to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, one of Pondicherry’s most important spiritual centers.

Visit the historic Manakula Vinayagar Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, followed by the Puducherry Museum, subject to operating days and timings.

Spend some time at Promenade Beach and explore the beautiful waterfront area.

Later, visit Chunnambar Boat House and Backwaters, where boating and other available activities can be enjoyed at additional cost.

In the evening, transfer to the designated boarding point and board the Volvo/AC bus to Rameswaram as per the confirmed reservation.

Overnight journey to Rameswaram.

Day 03: Rameswaram Temple Darshan & Sightseeing

Upon arrival in Rameswaram, transfer to the hotel and freshen up as per the confirmed early check-in arrangement.

Proceed to Agni Theertham, the sacred seashore located near Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple. Devotees may participate in traditional pilgrimage rituals according to temple customs.

Continue to Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and traditionally regarded as one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines. Devotees may undertake the traditional bathing ritual at the sacred theerthams inside the temple complex, subject to temple procedures, timings, and regulations.

Seek blessings at Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple and the shrine of Goddess Parvathavardhini Amman.

Later, proceed for Rameswaram sightseeing.

Visit Ramar Padam (Gandhamadhana Parvatham), a sacred site traditionally associated with Lord Rama.

Continue to Kothandaramaswamy Temple, an important religious site associated with the Ramayana.

Explore Dhanushkodi, a historic coastal settlement known for its ruins, religious significance, and dramatic coastal landscape.

Enjoy views of the famous Pamban Bridge, which connects Rameswaram Island with mainland India.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel and relax.

Later, visit Triveni Sangam, traditionally associated with the meeting of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean.

In the evening, experience the beautiful Kanyakumari sunset, subject to weather conditions.

After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Day 05: Kanyakumari – Kovalam – Trivandrum

Wake up early to experience the beautiful sunrise at Kanyakumari, subject to weather conditions. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out.

Visit the sacred Kumari Amman Temple (Bhagavathi Amman Temple), dedicated to Goddess Kanya Kumari.

Continue to the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, located on a rocky island offshore. Ferry services are subject to weather conditions, operating hours, and local regulations.

View the magnificent Thiruvalluvar Statue, dedicated to the celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar.

After completing the Kanyakumari sightseeing, proceed towards Kovalam, one of Kerala’s most popular beach destinations.

Explore Kovalam’s famous coastline, including Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach, depending on available time.

Later, continue to Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram).

Visit the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple (Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple), renowned for its towering gopurams, intricate sculptures, sacred shrines, and impressive Dravidian architecture.

Continue to Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, a magnificent 17th-century palace reflecting Madurai’s royal heritage.
