Itinerary

GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK TOUR PACKAGE

Tour Route: Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati

Tour Duration: 3 Nights / 4 Days

DAY 01: GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK (230 KM / APPROX. 5 HOURS)

Welcome to Guwahati! This big city is the main gateway to the Northeast. Once you land at the airport or arrive at the train station, our driver will meet you. From there, we will start our drive to the incredible Kaziranga National Park. This park is a famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in India because it protects the rare, amazing one-horned rhinoceros.

The drive itself is super pretty, taking you through the green countryside and tea gardens of Assam.

Arrive at Kaziranga: Once we get there, check into your wild jungle resort or lodge. You can spend the rest of your day relaxing, walking around, and listening to the sounds of nature.

Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY 02: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

Wake up early because today is a big adventure! We are going on a Kaziranga national park elephant safari in the Western range of the park.

Riding the Elephants: Sitting high up on an elephant is the absolute best way to get close to the wild rhinos. It is an amazing one-horned rhinoceros safari experience you will never forget!

See Wild Animals: Keep your eyes peeled for huge wild water buffaloes, herds of wild elephants, deer, and maybe even a royal Bengal tiger hiding in the grass!

Look for Rare Birds: Kaziranga has over 500 types of birds. Look out for giant eagles, colorful pelicans, and rare ducks flying around.

Head back to the resort for some breakfast and a little rest.

Jeep Safari in the Afternoon: After you eat, we will hop into an open jeep for a fun Kaziranga open jeep safari in the Central range. This is the perfect time to take awesome wildlife photos.

We will head back to the resort as the sun starts to set.

DAY 03: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI (230 KM / APPROX. 5 HOURS)

Enjoy your breakfast, pack your bags, and check out of the resort. We will make our way back to the city of Guwahati today.

When we arrive, check into your new hotel and unpack.

Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra: In the evening, we will visit this cool cultural park. It has awesome exhibits, old items, and shows that explain the history and traditions of Assam.

Brahmaputra River Cruise Guwahati: If you want, you can choose to take a relaxing boat ride on the giant Brahmaputra River to watch the sunset over the water.

Head back to your hotel for a good night's sleep.

DAY 04: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

Eat a good breakfast and check out of your hotel. Before we say goodbye, we have a few more cool places to show you.

Kamakhya Temple Visit: We will head up Nilachal Hill to visit the famous Kamakhya temple in Guwahati. It is a very old and holy temple that people travel from all over India to see.

Guwahati Sightseeing Tour: If your flight or train is later in the day, we can do some more sightseeing or shop for cool local souvenirs.

Finally, we will drop you off at the airport or train station for your journey home. You will go home with the best memories of your Assam wildlife tour package!
