Shimla and Kufri Shimla is an old town that British people used to love. It has a super famous walking street called Mall Road where no cars are allowed, so you can walk hand-in-hand without worrying about traffic! Next, you go to a tiny town called Kufri. It has thick deodar trees and awesome views of the snowy mountains. You can even ride a pony there!

Manali and Solang Valley Manali is a total favorite for young couples. It sits right next to a rushing river called the Beas River. It is the perfect place to get cozy in a mountain hotel. If you love excitement, Solang Valley is awesome because you can try paragliding (flying like a bird!) or zorbing (rolling down a hill in a giant plastic ball).

Dharamshala This town is high up in the hills and is super quiet and peaceful. The Dalai Lama lives here! You can walk through beautiful Tibetan temples, see the Bhagsu Nag waterfall, and feel totally relaxed.

Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, a wooden temple built in 1553 located amidst Van Vihar. Also visit the Tibetan Monastery, Vashisht Village known for its hot sulphur springs, and the Club House. In the evening, enjoy free time exploring local markets and shopping malls. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Dalhousie and Khajjiar

Dalhousie has old-fashioned buildings and misty roads. But the coolest part is a place nearby called Khajjiar. People call it the Mini Switzerland of India because it looks exactly like Europe! It is a giant green meadow with a lake in the middle and huge pine trees all around it.

The Day-by-Day Plan

• Day 1: Traveling from Delhi to Shimla
  Your driver picks you up from the Delhi airport or train station in a nice, clean private car. Then, you drive up into the mountains! It takes about 8 hours. When you arrive, you check into your hotel and have a yummy dinner.
• Day 2: Exploring Shimla and Kufri
  After a big breakfast, you go to Kufri to see the snowy views. In the afternoon, you come back to Shimla to see the historic Christ Church and hang out on Mall Road to buy cool souvenirs.
• Day 3: Shimla to Manali (Beautiful Drive!)
  Today you drive to Manali. On the way, you pass through the Kullu Valley. You will see where people weave famous colorful wool shawls and drive right next to the river. At night, you get a special romantic candlelit dinner at your Manali hotel!
• Day 4: Manali Sightseeing
  You will visit a super cool wooden temple called the Hadimba Devi Temple. It is hidden inside a deep, dark forest. You also get to see the Vashisht hot springs, where hot water naturally bubbles out of the ground!
• Day 5: Snow and Fun at Solang Valley
  Time for adventure! You go to Solang Valley to play in the snow and try fun sports. If the weather is good, you can even pay a little extra to go to Rohtang Pass, which is a giant mountain road covered in thick ice and glaciers!
• Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala
  You leave Manali and drive to Dharamshala. You will pass by beautiful green tea gardens and waterfalls along the bumpy mountains.
• Day 7: Dharamshala to Dalhousie
  In the morning, you visit the Dalai Lama's temple and the pretty Dal Lake. Then, you take a 4-hour drive through the pine trees to the town of Dalhousie.
• Day 8: A Day in "Mini Switzerland" (Khajjiar)
  You spend the day running around the amazing green fields of Khajjiar. You can ride horses or just sit by the grass and look at the mountains. It is the best day for romantic couple photos!
• Day 9: Going Back Home
  After an early breakfast, you say goodbye to the mountains. Your driver takes you all the way back to Delhi so you can catch your flight or train home.
